My table came out misaligned — why?
A PDF has no concept of a table; it positions text on a page and the structure is inferred. Consistently ruled, well-aligned tables infer cleanly, while multi-line cells and merged headers are genuinely ambiguous. Always check totals against the source.
Can I convert a scanned bank statement?
Run OCR / Searchable first. Do check the figures — recognition can misread digits on a poor scan, and a wrong number in a spreadsheet is worse than no number.
