How to sign a PDF on iPhone, iPad or Mac

On iPhone & iPad

  1. Open the PDF and tap Sign PDF.
  2. Draw your signature with a finger or Apple Pencil, or type it and pick a style.
  3. Drag the signature onto the signature line and pinch to size it.
  4. Add the date or any other text with the editor if the form needs it.
  5. Save, then share the signed file straight to Mail or Messages.

On Mac

  1. Open the document and choose Sign.
  2. Draw on the trackpad or type your signature.
  3. Position it on the canvas; ⌘D duplicates it if the document needs initialling in several places.
  4. ⌘S to save, then Reveal in Finder to attach it to an email.

Is a signature added in PDFlick legally binding?

An electronic signature's legal standing depends on your jurisdiction and the agreement in question — commonly ESIGN and UETA in the United States, or eIDAS in the EU. PDFlick places a standard electronic signature on the document; it is not a certificate-based digital signature service and does not provide an audit trail. Check what your specific document requires.

Can I reuse the same signature on other documents?

Yes — once drawn it can be placed again on any document, without redrawing it each time.

Can I fill in the form fields as well as sign?

Yes. Use Fill Form for interactive PDF form fields, or the editor to add text anywhere on a flat document.
