How to add a watermark to a PDF
On iPhone & iPad
- Open the document and tap Watermark.
- Enter your text or choose a logo image.
- Drag the watermark on the live preview to place it exactly.
- Choose which pages get it: all, current, odd, even, or a custom range like 1-5, 8, 10-12.
- Page through the preview to check every page, then save.
On Mac
- Open the PDF and choose Watermark.
- Set the text or logo and drag it into place on the large preview.
- Set the page rule, review the pages, and save with ⌘S.

Can I watermark only some pages?

Can I use my logo instead of text?
Yes — a logo image can be stamped in place of text, and positioned by dragging it on the preview.
Can a watermark be removed by the recipient?
A watermark is content added to the page, so a determined recipient with the right tools can attempt to remove it. It marks and deters; it is not a security control. Use Protect PDF for access control and Redact to remove content.
