Extract pages from a PDF
Select the pages you need and save them as their own document, leaving the original untouched. It is the quickest answer to "just send me page four" — and the safest, because the pages you did not pick are never written into the new file at all.

How to extract pages from a PDF
On iPhone & iPad
- Open the document and tap Extract Pages.
- Tap the pages you want — or enter a range.
- Tap Extract to build a new PDF from just that selection.
- Save or share it; the source document is unchanged.
On Mac
- Open the PDF and choose Extract Pages.
- Select pages in the grid, or type a range.
- ⌘S saves the extract as a separate file.
What makes it different
- The new document contains only the selected pages; the others are not present in the file in any form.
- Page geometry, rotation and crop boxes carry across exactly.
- The original document is left untouched on disk.

What is the difference between Extract Pages and Split PDF?
Extract pulls a chosen selection into one new document and leaves the original alone. Split cuts the whole document into multiple parts.
Is the extracted file safe to send?
The pages you did not select are not written into it. Bear in mind that content hidden underneath annotations on the pages you did select is still there — use Redact for that.
