Reorder, rotate and delete PDF pages

A grid of page thumbnails you can drag, spin and delete. This is the tool for the scan that came out in the wrong order, the page that photographed sideways, and the draft with a page in it that should never have been there.

How to reorder, rotate and delete PDF pages

On iPhone & iPad

Open the document and tap Organize Pages.
Drag any thumbnail to move it; the rest reflow around it.
Tap a page to rotate it, or select several and delete them together.
Insert pages from another PDF where you need them, then save.

On Mac

Open the document and switch to the page grid.
Drag thumbnails to reorder, and use ⌘Z liberally while you experiment.
Right-click a page for its actions; ⌫ deletes the selection.
⌘S commits the new order.

What makes it different

Rotation is written into the page's own rotation property, so it survives being merged, split or exported afterwards.
Page geometry and crop boxes are preserved through every reorder and rotation.
Pages can be inserted from other documents without leaving the screen.

Does rotating a page here stick when I open it elsewhere?

Yes. The rotation is stored in the PDF page itself rather than as a view preference, so every reader shows it the same way.

Can I recover a page I deleted?

Undo with ⌘Z before saving. Once saved over the original the page is gone, so keep a copy of anything you might need back.
